HUBZone is a small business certification issued by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Federal buyers can set-aside solicitations, restricting competition for HUBZone certified companies as long as there are at least two HUBZone certified companies with the solicitation NAICS code.

To qualify for the program the business:
1. Is a small business and principal owner is a US Citizen,
2. Principal office is located in a HUBZone region, and
3. 35% of the employees reside in a HUBZone.
