National PTAC Day

NOTE: The Alaska PTAC has been renamed as Alaska APEX Accelerator. This change occurred on September 15, 2023. Learn why.

The Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) have been around since 1985, and on September 15, 2021, we are celebrating National PTAC Day. PTACs were created to increase the number of businesses of all sizes, large and small, that work with government contracting. PTACs do this by educating businesses and helping them navigate the procurement process.
PTAC Day is a national campaign celebrating the contracting success of the thousands of small businesses who have benefited from their local PTACs. Click here to read about the success of several Alaska PTAC clients.
As part of National PTAC Day, we want to hear from you! To help us better serve Alaskan businesses and to understand the assistance you may need with your government contracting goals, please take a minute to complete this short survey (only seven questions). It’s your opportunity to provide us valuable input to increase your success.
We’re here to help and have many on-demand webinars accessible anytime. For example, if you are having trouble navigating the recent changes in SAM, be sure to view A Look at the “New” System for Award Management SAM Website. There are additional educational resources and On-Demand Training webinars for anyone in involved in government contracting from the beginning Getting Started in Government Contracting and Convincing a Prime to Put You on Their Team to the more advanced Advanced Teaming Strategies to Accelerate Small Business Government Revenue. Webinars are refreshed and posted regularly on Alaska PTAC’s Upcoming Training Events.
