PTACs are now also referred to as APEX Accelerators. The Alaska PTAC is part of a nationwide network of 90+ PTAC’s all funded, in part, by the US Department of Defense. Recently, the program shifted administration from Defense Logistics Agency to the DOD Office of Small Business Programs and with that shift came a new name of APEX Accelerator.

The Alaska PTAC will continue to offer the technical assistance we always have and will continue with the same personnel you know today. What has changed is the mission of the program. It’s been expanded to provide additional support to DOD’s industry partners and strengthen the defense industrial base.

Within the next year, we will update our branding to reflect the new name.
