The 673d Contracting Squadron is hosting an Industry Day for the below requirement:

Maintaining, Installing and Repairing Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.  The work area is JBER, inclusive.

The work items include, but are not limited to: heating system pipe and equipment replacement, mechanical room piping and accessories replacement, blowers, air handling units, coils, and sheet metal ductwork and ductwork accessories replacement; refrigeration systems replacement, electrical wiring replacement; asphalt paving, replace concrete curbs & gutters, replace concrete sidewalks, pavement markings, base course & sub-base work, and other work needed to restore areas of work back to their configuration prior to the work. Additionally, removal and replacement of materials containing asbestos is included under this requirement.  The Contractor shall have experience working in extreme arctic conditions.

This is a free event, however; due to space limitation, each attendee must register. If at capacity, walk-ins will be turned away. If you will be attending via web/teleconference, you must notify Jody King via email at jlking8@uaa.alaska.edu by Friday, March 25th at 4:00pm.
