Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) is used for federal procurement under $150,000 & Commercial acquisition procedure is utilized for supplies and services up to $6.5 million. These requirements are exclusively reserved for small business to include socioeconomic groups (woman-owned, service-disabled veteran, 8(a), and HUBZone); and allowing for small business the opportunity to do business with the federal government. SAP is utilized to procure requirements such as minor construction and renovation, janitorial, snow removal, painting, consultants/instructors, office furniture, sports equipment, and rental of heavy equipment. Learn how to target and market your potential customers. There will be discussions on key elements of the solicitation and request for quotes (i.e., bid schedule, scope of work, technical/price evaluation, and federal clauses). There will be a live demonstration utilizing the FBO website. This workshop is free and is recommended for small business firms that have already registered in the SAM database and interested in doing business with the federal government.
